Creche Worker ( 18 hours per week)

  • Childcare qualification (ie NNEB, NVQ Level 2 or other relevant qualification).
  • Minimum of 2 years practical experience (or equivalent) working with children in a group setting.
  • Experience of contributing to the planning and delivery of childcare activities.
  • A sound educational background.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to women’s issues particularly in relation to domestic violence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, both verbal and written, organisation skills.
  • Ability to work within a team and on own initiative within a collaborative framework.
  • A sound value base of practice.
  • Commitment to Women’s Aid aims and values.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Car driver with access to car.

Salary: £14,197 (Point 11 NJC Scale - under review)

Duration: Initially for 1 year.

Location: Ballymena

Closing date: Friday 7 March 2008 at 5pm .
