The successful candidate will provide quality advice, information and representation on Social Security Benefits, Disability Benefits, Housing and Community Care Issues. This service will be provided to Sperrin Lakeland Trust Staff and clients throughout the Trust area i.e. Omagh, Fermanagh and Castlederg areas.

Post is 25 Hours per week
Salary: £12,704-£14,234
Three year Fixed Term Contract

We provide a free, confidential and independent advice and representation service to the Omagh District public, on Social Security benefits, employment, housing, consumer debt and other welfare rights matters.

1. Candidates will be required to demonstrate a minimum of 1 year's experience in a public advice/welfare rights setting.
2. Will have excellent communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative.
3. Candidates should have up to date training i.e. completed the Citizens Advice or Law Centre Adviser Training Programme.
4. Candidates should have access to a car, or otherwise be able to fill the mobility requirements of the post.
