To take day–to-day responsibility for the delivery of the new Supporting People project. Salary: £21,511 (Scale 6, point 26)


S.T.E.P. (South Tyrone Empowerment Programme) is a community development and training organisation based in Dungannon. We are currently recruiting for a number of new projects.

Essential criteria for all STEP positions include

  1. A good understanding of and strong commitment to equality and human rights based work, anti-racism, anti-sectarianism and anti-discriminatory practice.
  2. Willingness to undertake occasional evening and week-end duty
  3. All posts will be offered initially for one year with potential for a further employment dependent on project performance and funding.

To take day –to-day responsibility for the delivery of the new Supporting People project within the second office location. This post provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a small team in delivering a quality and innovative service related to but not confined to housing issues.

Hours: 37.5 week. These will normally be worked between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm but there will be an expectation of an average of one working evening per week to meet the needs of clients.

Salary: £21,511 (Scale 6, point 26)

Location: Based in Dungannon with outreach to Cookstown (approximately 2 days)

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  1. Third level education OR three years relevant experience.
  2. ICT competence in Microsoft office package; GCSE English.
  3. Clean driving licence and access to transport.
