Salary: £19,656 - NJC 25
Pension: 10% Salary
Hours: 35 per week
Duration: This is a fixed term post for 12 months which may be extended subject to further funding.
Advice NI is seeking a Money Advice Co-ordinator to oversee a new money advice project. This project is a partnership involving the Advice Services Alliance and other key stakeholders that aims to develop a comprehensive and consistent service in supporting and improving the quality of money/debt advice offered to clients in Northern Ireland. The Co-ordinator will provide management support to advice ni members funded under the initiative and will have responsibility for developing the project, including finance, administration and monitoring. Key areas of work will include training, developing and promoting best practice, and providing co-ordination research and information support.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate previous project management experience, sound written and financial skills and be able to work on their own initiative. Knowledge of the community and voluntary sector and a sound understanding of money / debt issues is desirable.
