The Play Development Officer will assist in the facilitation of the 'Positive Playgrounds' project for PlayBoard and deliver and promote playground training and support to targeted Primary Schools. The post-holder will also assist in the development of related materials for the programme.

Applicants should possess

1. A minimum of 3 years direct experience within a playwork, youthwork, childcare or education environment.
2. A relevant qualification in training & development, adult education or similar.
3. Fundamental knowledge of children’s play issues and in particular within the school playground environment.
4. Experience of design and delivery of training including monitoring and evaluation. The above post is subject to confirmation of funding.
