The post holder will develop strategic partnerships locally using an area based approach and will develop, train and support local mediation practitioners.
Essential criteria include:

• 6 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
• group mediation skills training at OCN level 3 or equivalent
• at least 3 years’ experience in community or good relations work within the statutory and/or voluntary sectors including training provision.

Salary NJC Scale SO 2 (currently £25,437 to £26,928)

Additional to the salary for each post is a payment of 6% gross salary to an approved personal pension plan. The funding of these posts will mean a 5 year fixed term contract.

Reserve List
This recruitment process will also create a reserve list which may be utilized to fill vacancies in equally graded posts within Mediation Northern Ireland during the next 12 months.
