Policy priorities

  1. An anti-poverty strategy.
  2. Political leadership to tackle sectarianism and racism and support integrated education and housing.
  3. Integrate equality legislation. Better consultation to ensure equality of opportunity.
  4. A strong and inclusive Bill of Rights.
  5. Tackle child poverty and improve educational outcomes.
  6. End academic selection, focus on pupils as confident learners and active citizens, access to information on sexual and mental health, smaller classes and proper support for students in higher education.
  7. Free personal care, community safety for older people and end age discrimination.
  8. Improve access for the disabled to transport, employment and services.
  9. A ministerial working group on domestic violence, more Sure Start centres, all-women shortlists and improve childcare and services for carers.
  10. Sustainable development.
  11. A rural development White Paper.
