A Mine of Useful Information - Resources Pack

NICVA Small Logo

This information pack is based on a seminar organised by NICVA as part of the ‘Everything you ever wanted to know about policy but were afraid to ask 2006’ series of seminars.

This series of seminars aims to provide practical information on areas of policy that voluntary and community organisations are aware of, but have never fully grasped.

A Mine of Useful Information: Seminar 3.

So you’re writing a policy response or developing a campaigning position – how do you get the statistics, ideas and good practice to develop it? There are tons of sources of information out there that most people don’t know about and most of them are free to use.

This seminar took place on 24 March 2006 and the speakers were Gordon McCullough, John McCormick and Brendan Kane, all from NICVA.

This information pack contains two powerpoint presentations, and two links to information on Community NI.

The Research Perspective and The Information Perspective slides (powerpoint logo 346Kb)
