Saso Klekovski is a founder and executive director of one of Macedonia's largest not for profit foundations, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC), which has an annual budget of $3 million and 35 employees.
He is valued as an analyst of Macedonian civil society, development, SMEs and general policy issues.
Saso was a major contributor to the establishment and operation of the Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF) which has given him experience of working with SMEs in all sectors including the farmers associations.
He is a member of a number of think tanks and strategic development initiatives including the Round Table III of the Stability Pact, European Stability Initiative in Berlin, the Forum CSRD and Macedonian government consultations.
He has also worked in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
