NICVA Small Logo

If you like this website, you should visit Communityni.org, a new website for not for profit organisations.

Have you made use of the new website for Northern Ireland’s not for profit sector?

It’s maintained by NICVA, but designed to promote the work of the sector.

Go to www.communityni.org to find the following:

Find a charity
Search a directory of over 1000 charities online for contact details, items they have published on Community NI, and the organisation’s aims and objectives. Look for the Sectornet search on the top right of the homepage.

Events
Advertise your events in the Community NI diary - it’s free! Type the details into the events form , add a picture if you have one and submit. It will go live on the site within 24 hours.

Jobs
To use the popular, free jobs advertising service – copy and paste your advert into the jobs form and submit. The ad usually goes live on the site the same day you send it. You can monitor how many people have looked at your job by checking the Page Views at the end of your page.

Of the twelve candidates we shortlisted for our job vacancy, all of them knew about the post because they had seen it on Communityni.org.Charity in Craigavon.

News
Write news for the site. Copy and paste a news article into the news form , attach a picture and hit submit. We’ll add your logo, address details and your charity’s aims and objectives.

MORE FREE STUFF COMING SOON …

Surveys. Publish a survey on Community NI. Design it, collect the results and graph up the findings, all online.

Galleries. Most charities have a digital camera these days. What better way to use it that to post your pictures online on Community NI to illustrate your news or events.

Discussions. Are chuggers too in your face, are sector salaries too low, would you really buy in a charity shop, could our service delivery be better, should we spend more on marketing? Dare to give your opinion in the discussion forums and econsultations coming soon.
