The NORTHERN IRELAND RURAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (RDC) invites applications from community/voluntary organisations under a new programme entitled ‘Integrating Communities’. Supported by the International Fund for Ireland and managed by RDC this programme offers training, support and mentoring to community organisations seeking to engage in cross border and or cross community activities.
The programme seeks to match groups of interest enabling and supporting communities to engage and work on issues of common concern. As well as offering development support, funding will be available to successful groups to undertake joint projects.
Applications are invited from community/voluntary organisations located in both urban and rural areas of Northern Ireland and the 6 Border Counties of Monaghan, Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Louth and Sligo.
An information seminar will take place on Friday at Spires Church House, Wellington Street, Belfast, 11am – 1pm
