Ballynafeigh Community Development Association (BCDA) has organised an exciting, interactive conference highlighting the success of Ballynafeigh as a shared neighbourhood. It will highlight the practical benefits of sharing, showcase shared neighbourhood practice, and outline the lessons learned as we move towards a more pluralist Northern Ireland.

The Conference will bring together community practitioners and policy-makers, including politicians, to debate the emerging cohesion, sharing and inclusion agenda.

A choice of workshops is available including:

  • Learning from shared neighbourhood practice - Robin Wilson (researcher) and Jennifer Hawthorne (NIHE Community Cohesion Unit)
  • A Shared What? Interactive look at the obstacles to and benefits of sharing - Susan McEwen (Corrymeela)
  • Belfast : A Shared city? - Emily Brough and David Robinson (Belfast City Council Good Relations Unit)
  • A focus on policy (TBC)
