Coaching, an energizing approach to management

What is Coaching?

Coaching is an important developmental tool both in a work and personal context. It facilitates change by increasing a person’s self awareness, it helps the individual to learn rather than merely ‘be taught’, it helps in the identification of personal and performance goals, and encourages achievement of those goals.

Benefits of coaching

There are many benefits to be gained by both individuals and organisations through the coaching experience for example: -

  • Improved performance
  • Raised confidence
  • Greater sense of perspective
  • Realisation of personal values and priorities
  • Increased self motivation

The Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 Certificate in Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Managers is for anyone who is involved in using these skills to enhance performance in the workplace. The Level 3 qualification provides an introduction to the concept of coaching and the practical application of those skills within the workplace.

Key Associates NI invites you to a half day ‘Coaching Taster Session’ to be held at NICVA on Friday morning 12 January 2007 at 10.00am.
