This seminar will present the findings of the NICVA Salary Survey 2006 as well as other human resources issues of relevance to the voluntary and community sector.

Recruitment issues are always important in the voluntary and community sector therefore we want to make this seminar as of much practical use as possible. The seminar will initially look at the findings of the Salary Survey 2006 which will be tied to key issues in relation to human resources in the sector. This includes looking at legislative changes for instance the new Age Discrimination legislation and consequence of this for the sector.
Wider discussion will look at what human resource support organisations in the sector require.
