HomelessNI.org is a major source of information for professionals and members of the public alike.

Council for the Homeless NI and Resource Information Service (London) are launching a major source of information for people experiencing homelessness and professionals alike - Homeless Northern Ireland (www.homelessni.org).

What's different about HomelessNI?

Homeless NI provides detailed information in one place about over 380 services that can help people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or in need of accommodation and support.

Who is involved in the site?


This website is funded by the Big Lottery Fund Northern Ireland, and developed by Resource Information Service (RIS) in partnership with Council for the Homeless Northern Ireland.

RIS is a charity that specialises in publishing high quality websites, directories and information systems that help people in need in the UK and Ireland.

Council for the Homeless NI (CHNI) represents over one hundred organisations working with homeless people throughout Northern Ireland and the UK. This is achieved through providing:

  • training,
  • information,
  • research and
  • collective representation.
