‘Diversity Builds Community’ - Advocacy Week 2008 10th–14th June

Habitat For Humanity Northern Ireland has designated Advocacy week to provide the opportunity for different groups to come together at our Mid-Shankill construction site. Over four separate days, we hope to break down barriers and build not just houses but community and hope. We have chosen this week to raise awareness and celebrate the contributions made by the many different cultures, which make up our communities in Northern Ireland.

‘Diversity Builds Community’ offers a unique opportunity for members of different communities to unite and work together to build a shared and sustainable future for everyone. We hope to bring together diverse groups of volunteers to get involved in the work of Habitat and help regenerate the Mid-Shankill area.

About Habitat for Humanity
