Event
TTrócaire, in co-operation with the School of Geography in Queen's University Belfast, will hold a public event on Thursday 6 March at 7.00pm, on Climate Change and its impact on developing countries, addressed by expert speakers from overseas.
The event will be hosted by Dr Satish Kumar, School of Geography QUB and Dr Peter Doran, School of Law QUB and addressed by Dr Dominic Walubengo of Forest Action Network in Kenya and Yvette Aguilar, Climate Change researcher from El Salvador.
Dr Walubengo runs Forest action Network, funded by Trócaire, which works closely with the pastoralist (animal herding)people of northern Kenya.
Yvette Aguilar is El Salvador's official representative to the UN's Framework Convention on Climate Change
