On the eve of the one-year anniversary of the re-establishment of Northern Ireland’s power-sharing executive and legislative assembly, peacebuilders from across the world will share their perspectives, practice and experience of the challenges of peacebuilding.

The conference will be a feast for all the senses, offering delegates global perspectives on peacebuilding, and an opportunity to showcase local expertise in transforming conflict and creating the conditions for a sustainable peace.

What will take place at the conference?

Delegates will experience:

• Global perspectives from civic peacebuilders currently working across the world to bring peace to a number of conflict areas;
• an interactive debate with peacebuilding actors from key local and international positions;
• keynote addresses from high-level and celebrity figures; and
• a number of other surprise additions to be announced soon.

Who should attend?

This exciting day is aimed at any individual, researcher, civic peacebuilder or organisation involved in peacebuilding, and offers an opportunity to explore real-world perspectives on building peace in areas of conflict, and to exchange practice on how to build stable and sustainable post-conflict societies.
