VSO is an interntational development charity that works through volunteers and is holding an information event for people interested in finding out more.

Event
VSO sends volunteers aged 18-75 overseas on various placements lasting from 4 weeks to 2 years.
VSO works in 34 countries worldwide and its volunteers work abroad to share their skills with the local community, creating sustainability.
VSO pays for flights, accommodation, insurance, visas, public sector pension contributions and volunteers also receive a local allowance from their in-country employer.
An information event is taking place in Belfast on 18 October for anyone interested in finding out more.
