The LACE (Looked After Children in Education) Project is a regional project which aims to improve the educational outcomes and experiences of looked after children and young people in Northern Ireland.

In response to this the LACE Project has designed this training to raise awareness of the issues for looked after children, provide current information and enable professionals and carers to increase their understanding of each other’s roles and responsibilities.
The workshop will be of interest to parents, carers, teachers, social workers and other professionals who have a role in supporting the education of looked after children and young people.
