Abuse is anything that harms another person, particularly when it is done by someone who is in a position of power over the person and/or who is trusted by them.

By the end of this half day course, participants will have:

  • A better understanding of abuse and vulnerable adults
  • A clear understanding of their roles and the responsibilities of other agencies
  • A knowledge and understanding of vulnerable adult procedures
  • A knowledge of the values underpinning practice when dealing with vulnerable adults.
