Do you currently involve volunteers or are you planning to involve volunteers?
A clear and well thought out volunteer policy is the foundation for volunteer involvement, and can provide your organisation with a framework to manage volunteers effectively.
This one day course introduces the importance of a volunteer policy and what it should include. Participants will look at the steps involved in developing a policy and will consider their own value base for involving volunteers.
Effectively developing and communicating your volunteer policy can also assist you in benchmarking against, or working towards, accreditation for the Investing in Volunteers Quality Standard for Volunteer Management.
