The BMA(NI) is planning to develop its policy on caring, including young carers, and invites representatives from community and voluntary sector organisations, to a workshop to inform its work.

The workshop will be used to identify current issues and opinion with regard to carers in Northern Ireland, and to suggest changes which would improve the situation.
In addition to this workshop, the BMA(NI) is seeking members for its Patient Liaison Network to ensure that its policy development process takes into consideration an informed patient view on healthcare. This will be done through workshops and consultation.
