Participate in an interactive form based launch with a twist! There will be forms, there will be wine, there will be members of the arts community asking you questions...Log onto www.thesheelaghfoundation.com download and print out the invitation application form, fill it out and bring it along to The Waterfront Hall, Belfast, at 7.30pm on 6 September 2007.
Preview new artwork by artist Sheelagh Colclough based on confidential interviews conducted with 5 different groups within community arts in Northern Ireland, funders, arts organisations, artists, community workers and participants, which asked questions such as:
What is community arts? Is there a difference between it and ‘real art’?
Do you feel that you are part of a community?
What is an artists’ role in society?
