Thanks to a grant from City Hall's Good Relations project, Belfast Central Branch committee is pleased to be able to announce a member Information Day on February 17, 2005 in St Mark's Church Hall, Holywood Road, Belfast.
The purpose of the day is to explore effective ways of handling situations we find in day to day life - for example, as a responsible carer, family life, general everyday experiences and dealing with professionals.
The sessions will be informal and trainers from Mediation Northern Ireland will make every effort to ensure your time together is enjoyable and useful. Included will be ideas for ways to handle conflict, how to communicate effectively and how to deal with difficult behaviour.
The event runs from 10.00am until 4.00pm. Morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided.
Facilitators for the day will be Olive Hobson and Audrey Peterson.
Contact Geraldine fennell at Belfast Central Branch, Carers UK for more information.
