‘Achieve IT’ is a new tutor-led course that focuses on the provision of IT skills that will enhance your career building potential. Subjects range from website design and PC maintenance to software-based accounts management.

ITxp, in conjunction with BSP, DEL and the European Social Fund, have launched ‘Achieve IT’ and places are currently available on this course that begins 27th September 2004. With a particular focus on women who want to return to the workplace, 'Achieve IT' aims to promote women in the traditionally male-dominant IT sector. This new venture has the following components:

Website design
Electronic accounts management using Sage
Understanding PCs (A+ certification)
Assertiveness
Starting your own business


The training will take place in ITxp South, situated on the Ormeau Road and runs from Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, over 26 weeks. There are 15 places for this course, but will be running it again in January, and there willbe a “waiting list” for anyone not fortunate enough to get on the first time.
