The Clonallon Community Centre is in need of a necessary facelift before the next season of activities commences in earnest in the autumn.
A bank holiday Saturday 'Clean-Up Challenge' has been arranged for the 28 August 2004. The committee hopes to attract the attention of local business people who can sponsor the challenge weekend.
In the last year the number of users has grown to over 600 people per week and the committee would like to see growth continue over the next year.
With the aid of as many volunteers and trades people as possible on the weekend, everyone can pull together to make a difference to the centre, hence attracting new users and groups. Local businesses who help out will be acknowledged using various media.
