A conference about transgendered people, both transvestite and transsexual, will be held at the Ramada Hotel, Belfast on 14 February from 9.30am to 1.00pm. Pre-registration is necessary. and attendance is free.
Speakers include Monica McWilliams of the human rights commission, Richard O'Brien of the Rocky Horror Show, Janett Scott, President of the Beaumont Society, and will be chaired by Malachi O'Doherty. The event will also include various workshops dealing with the family, youth, the workplace and the Health Service.
