The Centre for Global Education administers the Department for International Development's Mini Grant Fund in Northern Ireland. This fund is designed to support projects between 1 and 3 years, which aim to raise awareness of international development issues at a local level. Grants awarded under the fund range from a minimum of £1,000 to a maximum grant of £10,000. The Centre has organised briefing seminars for applicants in Belfast and Derry on 24 and 26 September from 11.00am - 1.00pm as follows:
Wednesday 24 September 2008 at 11.00am in VSB Belfast, 34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast BT2 7DB,
Friday 26 September 2008 at 11.00am in The Junction, 8 Bishop Street, Derry, BT48 6PW.
