The Centre for Global Education will be delivering briefing seminars for potential applicants to the Department for International Development's Mini Grant Fund in Northern Ireland. This fund is designed to support projects between 1 and 3 years, which aim to raise awareness of international development issues at a local level.

The Centre for Global Education administers the Department for International Development's Mini Grant Fund in Northern Ireland. This fund is designed to support projects between 1 and 3 years, which aim to raise awareness of international development issues at a local level. Grants awarded under the fund range from a minimum of £1,000 to a maximum grant of £10,000. The Centre has organised briefing seminars for applicants in Belfast and Derry on 24 and 26 September from 11.00am - 1.00pm as follows:

Wednesday 24 September 2008 at 11.00am in VSB Belfast, 34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast BT2 7DB,

Friday 26 September 2008 at 11.00am in The Junction, 8 Bishop Street, Derry, BT48 6PW.
