Event
This event will celebrate all individuals in Down District who have made a difference to their local communities through volunteering.
There will be live entertainment, refreshments, presentations and a display of local placement organisations showcasing their work. Featuring special guests and local celebrities!
There will also be special awards presentations of unique Year of the Volunteer crystal trophies to our competition winners. Individuals can enter our competitions in the short story, photography or video diary sections. Volunteers - if you’re not in, you can’t win!
Placement organisations can nominate volunteers for the outstanding achievement sections - don’t miss out on this opportunity to value your volunteers by nominating them for an award!
