The conference will explore the benefits and value of workplace learning for workplaces of all sizes and employers and workers in all situations. It will invite discussion on what is meant by the knowledge based society and the consequences of this for the workforce and for the education and training sector in general. It will appeal to anyone with an interest in the development of workforce potential and lifelong learning and will seek to influence policy and practice.
