Applying to Grant-Makers/Meet the Grant-Maker

This course provides guidance on applying to grant-making organisations, from either Statutory, Corporate and independent Grant-Making sources.

The successful fundraiser needs to firstly focus attention internally on strategic and project planning issues. By clarifying what the project aims, objectives and outcomes are, the list of potential grant-makers can begin to be realised. This approach helps to ensure the funders' criteria are more closely met.

After considering the Grant Maker's perspective, each session will be further complemented by hints and tips given by a guest grant-maker.

This course is interactive, allowing participants to ask questions throughout and is accompanied by comprehensive notes on the subject.

The training is free as part of the NICVA Outreach Programme.

Please note, training sessions and one-to-one advice sessions are also available in your own premises. If you are unable to attend during the day, evening sessions can also be arranged.
