Event
The course is designed to help staff, managers, volunteers and funders of voluntary and community organisations to understand evaluation concepts and issues and to provide a practical introduction to the process of implementing effective self-evaluation systems within their working practice.
Course objectives:
•To increase participants’ awareness of the benefits of self-evaluation
•To increase understanding of self-evaluation concepts and issues
•To enable participants to more effectively plan for self-evaluation
•To develop participants’ knowledge and skills in implementing self-evaluation
•To enhance participants use of both quantitative and qualitative approaches to evaluation
•To raise awareness of the process of analysis and interpretation of information
•To highlight the importance of using and disseminating evaluation findings including report writing
