Training
As part of a full programme of training the Community Festivals Fund (CFF) is providing training at two levels and in three different venues in fundraising for community festivals.
(Delivered by Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action)
This is an introduction to fundraising. It looks at the various fundraising options such as grants, donations, sponsorship and earned income and outlines the benefits and requirements of each.
It is not necessary to have applied to the Community Festivals Fund to take part and the courses are designed to cover wider issues of community festival development and delivery, not just issues that directly relate to CFF. This is a valuable opportunity to take part in training that is tailored specifically for community festivals. If there is sufficient demand, the programme will be extended to ensure that all subjects are delivered in all six venues across Northern Ireland.
To apply for the free training simply complete the registration form. Please feel free to make copies for other members of your group. Places on the courses are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis so early booking is essential.
