Healing Through Remembering (HTR) will launch the second in a series of reports on issues of dealing with the past in relation to the conflict in Northern Ireland at 6.00pm on 30 March 2006.
The report entitled 'International Experiences of Days of Remembrance and Reflection' was commissioned by HTR on behalf of its Day of Reflection sub group. The report details 13 International Days of Remembrance and Reflection ranging from country specific days including Australia's 'Sorry Day' and Cambodia's 'Day to Remain Tied In Anger' to worldwide days such as Human Rights Day and Holocaust Memorial Day.
There will be brief presentations on Chile's 'National Unity Day' and 'Holocaust Memorial Day'. A wine reception will follow the presentations.
