Do you manage staff or lead a team? Then you will already know about the some of the difficulties in keeping staff inspired, enthusiatic and motivated to do their jobs. CO3 is delighted to bring a new method of tackling this issue - through Employee Engagement. Employee Engagement isn't just about getting employees to do their job, or even getting them to do their job well. It's about creating an organisation that provides the right motivators, drivers and recognition to ensure employees care about the organisation and their contribution to it.

Why not come along to this two hour workshop, when Jane Stevenson, Director of People Solutions and Cathy Thompson, Senior Manager People Solutions of BDO Stoy Hayward will share with delegates the key concepts of Employee Engagement and some of the work they are currently engaged in with clients. The workshop will allow delegates to explore their own strategies for engaging employees to act and to devise a workable action plan to improve.

We will be asking the questions:

Does your organisation really need it?
What creates high levels of engagement?
How do you get it?

Workshop Content

Employee Engagement – what is it and why should we bother?
What is my role?
Getting your message across
Common causes of resistance and coping strategies
Understand why people do what you ask
Action plan to improve

The workshop is open to both CO3 members and non members, but participants should be at a senior level and manage staff.
