Event
This event will be looking at the rights and entitlements of migrant workers to housing in Northern Ireland. As this is a vast and quite often complex area, this seminar will serve to introduce participants to the current legislation and issues on this subject. The guest speakers are Fiona Neilan from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Edel Fox, a floating support worker at STEP.
The seminar will cover current housing legislation in relation to people from abroad, homelessness, eligibility for housing, current research into H.M.O and housing conditions, STEP’s floating support programme and relevant case studies.
