Event
This three day programme will take place on October 4, 5 & 6, 2006 in Dublin. The Workshop focuses on collaborative approaches to leading change in ways which increase participation and commitment among key stakeholder groups. Participants are provided with opportunities to learn and apply specific practices, skills and tools that support these.
COLLABORATION AMONG ORGANISATIONS and restructuring within organisations requires careful management if the process is to make the most of the skills and commitment of everyone involved. If you are building a partnership that seeks to develop and implement a jointly held vision; if you are trying to involve a variety of individuals and organisations in community problem solving; or if your organisation is attempting to restructure itself along more collaborative, less hierarchical lines, then this workshop is for you.
The Facilitating Change TM three day workshop teaches you to leverage the skills and commitment of all stakeholders involved by providing you with strategies and tools for designing, managing and participating in partnerships or change efforts. This workshop also will clarify the relationship between your values, behaviors and the effectiveness of your work in leading change. You’ll gain important insights into how your values and behaviour influence your effectiveness and how to coach others in positioning and planning the change effort. By combining the concepts of change management with the principles of collaboration, Facilitating Change gives you the keys to a successful process for designing, managing and implementing complex change efforts. This is a powerful workshop which provides tools for community development in building partnerships and coalitions which seek to design and lead major change initiatives.
