Strategic approach to fundraising
This session starts by stressing the importance of initial project planning prior to raising funds through a broad range of suitable funding streams. Project planning is a vital step in ensuring the attainment of measurable outcomes for every project and in turn facilitates the subsequent monitoring and evaluation process.
The successful strategic fundraiser will have a long term view of his organisation and project, and the ever-changing external environment, incorporating competition, beneficiaries and funding.
By thoroughly researching funding opportunities, the strategic fundraiser can build a broad funding portfolio, spanning a wide range of suitable funding streams and minimising risk.
This course is interactive, allowing participants to ask questions throughout and is accompanied by comprehensive notes on the subject.
The training is free as part of the NICVA Outreach Programme.
Please note, training sessions and one-to-one advice sessions are also available in your own premises. If you are unable to attend during the day, evening sessions can also be arranged.
