Save the Children invites you to the launch of Save the Children on Mother's Day at 10.00am, Thursday, 9 March 2006 at Rain City, Malone Road, Belfast.
Jeanne Rankin will be presenting a special recipe for Mother's Day.
CAMPAIGN
This Mother's Day, millions of children across sub-Saharan Africa are caring for their sick mothers, knowing their mother will soon die of AIDS.
As a result, children are becoming adults before their time. They are caring for their mothers, missing school, and having to work because their mothers are too sick to look after them.
Save the Children is assisting the most vulnerable families by helping them access benefits, helping children stay in school, and providing care in their homes.
This Mother's Day, the public can support our appeal by helping us to raise half a million pounds to 'Save the Children on Mother's Day'.
We have some brilliant gift ideas and some fantastic breakfast recipes, which will be available on our website on 13 March at www.savethechildren.org.uk, that will not only make your mother's day, but will also help children who are not lucky enough to share this special day with their mother.
You are very welcome to bring your mother. Please note numbers are limited at this event so please reply as soon as possible.
