Are you interested in developing community projects around these themes of Identity, Community and Renewal in Northern Ireland?

Belfast Exposed logoFounded in 1983 as a community photography initiative, Belfast Exposed Photography runs an extensive educational outreach network.

Belfast Exposed has a continuing interest in building partnerships to explore and document these themes. We are running a practical development session on 'Community photography as a tool for community renewal'.

What the session will cover

This is a practical session, which aims to open up our services and resources to the community, while providing a platform for networking and exchange.

The session will cover:

  • An introduction to Belfast Exposed’s resources
  • Community photography as a tool for raising awareness, exploring and documenting community change
  • Adding value and opening up access
  • Getting projects off the ground- the next step

As a further incentive, and supported by Belfast City Council subsidy, Belfast Exposed can provide 25% match funding towards photography projects developed by Belfast based groups who sign up.
