The aims of this event are to
•Promote an awareness of the potential of education in terms of delivering equality
•Draw attention to the continuing inequalities in this area
•Explore the potential for more effectively bringing equality and good relations into the mainstream of
school life and
•Provide an opportunity for delegates to contribute to the debate on some of the key equality issues in
education provision.
The conference will be of particular interest to policy makers and those actively engaged in education and civic society generally.
