On Sunday 21 September 2008, Springboard is holding a major concert and festival event to raise awareness of the International Day of Peace. We want to create a major talking point about this international day of ceasefire and non-violence and we would like as many local community arts groups and cultural groups as possible to be a part of it.
We've planned a unique festival-type day of music, dance and other forms of entertainment at the Oh Yeah Building in Belfast. There'll be an audience of hundreds and much media attention, and we want to harness this to send a message about the International Day of Peace.
If you’re a local community arts or cultural group and want to seize this opportunity to showcase your work, and you’d like to donate your performance skills (This could include Dance demonstrations, Music, Circus Skills etc) to our Peace Day event in aid of raising awareness of the International Day of Peace, then get in touch so as not to miss out on this unique opportunity
