Launch of the Code of Good Governance
The Code of Good Governance for the voluntary and community sector will be officially launched on the 6 June 2008 at a special seminar in NICVA by the Developing Governance Group.

Fold Housing Association, the winners of this year’s annual charity quiz night run by Housing Rights Service have donated their £614 winnings to local nature conservation charity, the Ulster Wildlife Trust. The Minister for Social Development and the Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety have agreed to a review of the support provisions for carers.

On 19 June the Assembly’s Social Development Committee will hold its weekly meeting at NICVA’s premises, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast. NICVA will make a presentation to the DSD Committee on funding for the sector, as it has already done with the Finance and Personnel Committee.

Improvement Juggler from the Centre for Competitiveness has been tailored to boost productivity in the voluntary and community sector. The Code of Good Governance for the voluntary and community sector will be officially launched on the 6 June 2008 at a special seminar in NICVA by the Developing Governance Group. Bottled water uses 300 times more energy than tap water. That's one reason why government departments are phasing out the bottles.Footer
