Huntington’s Disease Association Northern Ireland is dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of individuals, carers and their families who live with this rare condition.
Our work centres around ensuring that members receive accurate information and advice on this little known condition and offering the support they need to remain connected as a community by maintaining regional support groups and social activities. We aim to reduce isolation and stigma by raising awareness and by building a strong voice to campaign against discrimination, ensure excellence in care and services and provide education and advocacy for our membership. We also deliver training to health and social care professionals who, because of the rarity of the disease, may lack the specialised skills and understanding to deal with it.
Support Groups are located in Belfast, Armagh, Omagh and Limavady
