We do this by providing information and a range of support services to survivors as well as their families and carers.
We offer day therapy three times a week which includes art, drama, music therapy, peer support groups, exercise classes, yoga and IT Support. We also offer counselling, neuro-physiotherapy and a community outreach service. Our new Younger Person's Network will commence in January 2013 for young people aged 16 - 20.
Brain injury is the biggest cause of disability globally with over 2,000 people affected in Northern Ireland alone each year. Headway Belfast facilitates 85 individuals affected by brain injury every week.
