We've made some changes to the spam CAPTCHA on communityni
Some users have been in touch about problems with the spam CAPTCHA filter. We know that filling in forms with characters from an image is very annoying but unfortunately online forms need protection from automated spam bots.
I'll admit we probably went a bit too far in trying to spam protect everything so we've changed how it works.
What happens now?
Authenticated users (ie people with a communityni User account) will not be prompted to fill in a captcha when adding content.
People registering on communityni will have to fill in a captcha when they create a user account.
Thanks to the people who got in touch - your contribution will hopefully make things easier for all users.
