Adding a News item
My experience and some tips
I added a News item recently and must confess I am not an experienced poster so for those of you who are, it's time to switch the channel!
If you are uploading an image, please note that the Maximum Filesize is 2 MB. I failed to read this and tried to upload a 2.58 MB file and wondered why it was taking so long. Is it possible to either enlarge the size of font on this guidance to make it more visible or perhaps, for people like me who charge in and often fail to read everything they should, have a prompt which says 'Dumbo your file is too large!' or a more diplomatic alternative! One other point to note is the section at the end entitled Categories. I didn't know what these were for and so had to ring for advice. Perhaps a few lines indicating what they are for and what they will be used for would help? Also a note to say you can choose more than one by holding down the Control key.
