DonorTracker Gift Aid Report

Summary:
This is a sample early draft of what a donor management database can do for you. It could potentially produce a Gift Aid report for your claim to HM Revenue and Customs at the click of a button.

While this is just an early sample of the sort of thing the proposed DonorTracker software could produce, the attached R68 Gift Aid Schedule Report is produced automatically by the database.

It would look up all donors who have a valid Gift Aid declarations and all of their donations that are Gift Aid eligible. The report then groups together their donations and producing a sum for them - and an overall total. This can easily be transferred to the R68 schedule. We can also explore later whether HMRC would even accept a later version as the claim form itself.

Donor Tracker Screen Views

Summary:
I have added a few images to show some of the information I would like to capture in a Donor Management Database if we could develop one.

Screenshot 1:The first Screenshot shows the donor details and with the contact details tab towards the bottom open. It would show the type of correspondence the donor is willing to receive so organisations can comply with data protection, telephone and mailing preferences services and rules on spam email.

Screenshot 2: The second screenshot shows the donor notes tab open. The screen can provide details on the profile of the donor. Information like date of birth could also be added.
