Community Development Networks Forum

An informal support network for community development networks, the forum meets bi-monthly in NICVA and a range of venues across Northern Ireland. The forum is chaired by Cathy Rice from Ards Development Bureau and Community Network.

  The objectives of the forum are:

• To lobby on behalf of member organisations in order that they receive long-term, core funding from central government sources.
• To act as a support mechanism for community development networks where information can be shared and issues raised.
• To organise events, as and when necessary, to represent the views of member organisations, highlighting issues affecting them and the wider community sector.
